RAVEN’S NEST NATURE SANCTUARY


Welcome to Raven’s Nest – a very unique and secluded Nature Sanctuary in the heart of the Sky Islands region. The preserve is located in the mountains of southeast Arizona near the quaint town of Patagonia and only a 4-minute drive from Patagonia Lake State Park. Strategically located by Sonoita Creek State Natural Area’s 9,500+ acres of pristine wilderness, our Nature Sanctuary offers a golden opportunity to disconnect and recharge while exploring the region’s world-class biodiversity.

After exploring our nearly 6 miles of groomed Nature Trails in search of the area’s unique biodiversity, throughout our diverse seasons – including our spectacular Monsoon season – you can also visit many nearby natural areas. A few examples include: The majestic Chiricahua Mountains, Las Cienagas National Conservation Area, Coronado National Memorial, Sycamore Canyon, Patagonia Lake State Park, Sonoita Creek State Natural Area, The Anza Trail, Aravaipa Canyon, Madera Canyon, Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge…the list goes on!

FROM TUCSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Raven’s Nest Nature Sanctuary is a mere 75 minute drive from Tucson and its international airport. Take I-10 to exit 281 and follow AZ-83S towards Patagonia and then to Patagonia Lake State Park. You will be transported to another world as you take this scenic mountain drive through diverse wild landscapes.
FROM PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Raven’s Nest Nature Sanctuary is just 3 hours south from Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix. Take I-10 East through Tucson and proceed to exit 281 to follow AZ-83S towards Patagonia and then towards Patagonia Lake State Park. Enjoy the gorgeous mountain scenery!
